Summary:
Account Managers are responsible for the growth in sales revenues for specific accounts in Asia Market. He or She will manage this business by building and executing on annual plan of record, taking responsibility for all customer-facing activities including customer presentations, pricing negotiations, dealing with contractual issues, organizing Ulticom resources to align with customer requirements, and preparing business cases for new customer projects including feature requests, and coordinating RFI/RFP responses for all new sales opportunities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Meet or exceed revenue objectives as defined in the annual Sales Plan;
- Manage business within assigned account base or assignment as it relates to all customer–facing activities including, but not limited to, face-to-face and telephone sales, customer presentations, pricing negotiations while assisting Contracts Dept. with preparation and negotiation of license agreements and other contracts, organize internal organizational resources to align with regional customer requirements, prepare business cases for new customer projects and feature requests, coordinate RFI/RFP responses;
- Assist with continuous improvement of the internal and external Sales Process
- Assist the SVP, Global Sales with special projects as needed.
- Provide Account Status updates, Revenue Projections and Product Demand Forecasts on a timely and accurate basis
Ideal Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each of the essential duties satisfactorily listed above. In addition, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities deemed required for consideration of this position. Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent;
Seven (7) Years Experience in the Telecom, Computer or Software Industries, or equivalent;
Five (5) Years Outside Sales experience with demonstrated track record of sales results and relationship management successes;
Five (5) Years experience managing a Service Providers with a demonstrated track record of success and profitable growth;
Professional communication, technical/business presentation, opening, probing, persuasion & closing skills;
Strong business/financial negotiation and contracts experience;
Prospecting and cold-calling abilities with excellent follow-up skills;
Willingness and ability to travel 40+%.
Excellent oral and written English is required.
Knowledge of multiple Asian languages is beneficial.
