Signalware^® supports load sharing at the process and platform levels. This is a more economical solution than hot-standby configurations.

Process
Signalware enables multiple processes to register for the same Subsystem Number (SSN) and supports round-robin routing of inbound dialogs. This enables load sharing across multiple applications.

Platform
Signalware supports clusters with 2 to 4 Computing Elements (CE). Signalware clusters appear to the network as single platforms (point codes). Because each CE in a cluster is capable of hosting active processes, application processing can be distributed throughout the cluster.
